What the First Lady said was a sexist remark although I’m sure she meant it as a joke… historically men have received more recognition for their academic achievements and women were viewed as the “weaker” sex whom didn’t need an education because she only needed to marry well. I doubt either sex is smarter, but I do believe women have a different and stronger way of thinking because we tend to think more compassionately over all issues.

As a former nanny, it is shocking how this trend of parent’s publicly shaming their children has become so rampant. Parents and guardians should guide a child in a loving and compassionate way… to humiliate a child to “teach” them some big lesson is simply public abuse. I understand parents get frustrated and angry, but the children should never be made to feel they are having to guard themselves from their own parent’s shaming them. I’m so glad I didn’t grow up in an era where each mistake I made as a child could be instantly videotaped and thrown up on Facebook or Twitter for all the world to see and laugh about…

Very nice to have you back on the screen.

I liked the show and thought that it would be nice to have it at a little slower paste, less hectic.
The conversation seemed to be very focused on the guests and what they had to say, letting them answer and take their time to form their thoughts while being interviewed.
Beeing asked very personal questions can turn to unexpected and surprising answers but to let that happen, the guests need to be able to finish their thoughts and end their sentences.

Wish you all the best for undone – thanks Amanda
