Every women knows a good man is hard to find, but a good deal is even harder. And no matter what your budget, when you can find a product that is accessible, inexpensive, and actually works… well, you’ve struck gold! Here are my top three picks for this month’s best drugstore finds:
1. Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm in Flame
I’m always wary of lipstick, especially in a bold color. I honestly find it intimidating and messy. When I took a chance and tried this stain and balm combo though, I found the answer for how I was going to achieve a bright lip that would last me throughout cocktail hour. The color is a bright coral that I like to think of as an “ode to the end of summer.” While the balm keeps lips soft and smooth, it also gives the color a slight shine. This stain doesn’t run, but for $8.99 maybe you should run to your local drugstore and get one for yourself!
Hair removal creams were terrifying to me. I had always pictured myself accidentally touching my eyebrow while my hand is covered with the depilatory and I would have to kiss my full Cindy Crawford brows goodbye! Then I got real and got Veet. I have waxed and lasered for the past 5 years and these are great means for getting rid of unwanted hair, but these tend to cost upwards of $70 or more per a session and let’s not forget to mention the pain involved. Veet literally goes on and in 6 minutes you wipe it off and the hair is gone. For $15.00, I would say it’s worth a try.
3. Sally Hansen- Salon Effects
Nail art is all over the place. From the runways to street style, it has become one of the easiest ways to express yourself. Lucky for us, Sally Hansen has created Salon Effects, an affordable way to experiment with nail art with very little commitment. The stick-on polish has no dry time and is easily removed with your regular nail polish remover. You can try it out on just a few fingers to see if you like the look or go all the way and paste some metallics on your digits. Either way for only $15.00 a set, you can’t go wrong.
