MEN WE LOVE ON THIS FATHER’S DAY

MEN WE LOVE ON THIS FATHER’S DAY

BY The Conversation Team

We would like to extend a very happy Father’s Day to the ‘Men We Love’ Nick Valensi, Dallas Clayton, Alejandro Junger, and John Taylor. In honor of this special day, we’ve grabbed some of our favorite interview questions from these gentlemen.

If given a second chance, would you do this (your life) all over again? Or would you do things differently? – @Rebel_Yellll
I’m grateful for all my experiences, but there’s definitely some things I’d do differently if I could go back with the knowledge I have now. Nick Valensi

From @jenbigelow: What lessons do you want @atlantabean to learn from you and @amandadecadenet?
Be nice. Work hard. — John Taylor

How has being a father changed your priorities?
In many ways I think it has made me the best version of myself. It has allowed me to recognize a life that is small and personal and focused on the issues that happen within the four walls of my house and at the same time geared toward providing for and participating within society on a larger global scale. Dallas Clayton

I always like asking people who they deem their mentors – those people who helped shape you (in some way) for the better. In your opinion, who you do consider these figures in your life? Why?

My father was my first – he taught me to be honest, humble and to work hard for what I want. He instilled in me the belief that I can do anything that I put my mind to. My friend Fernando Sulichin taught me how to think outside the box in simple and complex life situations, and that even the most seemingly impossible to solve problems have a solution, often much simpler than I could imagine. — Alejandro Junger
