Chelsea Handler

“Everyone is coming from a place of fear, and my feeling is stop being so afraid, if something doesn’t work that’s fine, at least then you know it doesn’t work, don’t worry so much about it not working. You can always fix that.”

Arianna Huffington

“Having a successful business is very important, but it’s not as important as how we do it. Then suddenly there is a fearlessness that comes in. Because if you think of it, if you are so attached to the outcome…Then you’re going to be paralyzed.”

Eva Longoria

“I also discovered, missing someone is a separate emotion, and loving somebody is a separate emotion…Not to confuse the two.”

Milla Jovovich

“There was no toilet cleaner and shinier in all of Beverly Hills than the ones that my mom scrubbed, okay. Because if she was going to do it, even though she was movie star in Russia, she was going to be the best, and that’s where passion comes in. It doesn’t matter what you do, you do it with all your heart.”

Gabourey Sidibe

“I figured out that I’m the only consistent person in my life, so I better like myself. I better love myself, and I really better know that I am as beautiful as anybody else. I had to do that for myself otherwise I would have drowned in a sea of negativity.”

Lots of wisdom here; life is all about learning, and it’s always so fantastic to hear the stories and lessons shared by other women. I love the interviews and articles posted. Thanks for making this a website that is so personal and encouraging!

  • Miruna

Self-appreciation is one very important lesson I learned, though sometimes I have to
remind myself to actually apply it. I find that constantly revisiting all the things I`ve proved myself I`m capable of, all the things I`m really talented or good at and the things I`ve accomplished helps me mantain a positive attitude and therefore face whatever difficulties and setbacks in a more confident and relaxed way.

P.S. I admire you ladies so much! I think The Conversation is such a great show, I wish you will manage to bring the old 40 minutes long format back sometimes soon, because I really miss it. Your conversations and your guests are always so inspiring and delightful, and so are you, Amanda!

    Lots of hugs from Romania!!
