AMBER VALLETTA: BLAZE YOUR OWN TRAIL

Amber Valletta

This week Amanda chatted with the dynamic and entrepreneurial Amber Valletta who is also one of our editors here on the site. She shared many insights and here are some of them:

-The importance of helping others.

-How Amber taught herself about the business world.

-How she  feels more empowered as a woman.

-How Amber lives by the mantra sitting on her desk.

We would love  to hear from you…

– How do  you help others? ( even in the smallest way)

– What do you do to  you feel more empowered?

– Is there a mantra or motto that you try to live by?

– Is there anything you taught yourself ?

Love this interview with Amber! I’ve been a fan for a long time & it was so inspiring and empowering to hear about her journey into launching her business & facing her fears.

One of my go-to mantras: Everything in the Universe is as it should be; I shall judge nothing that occurs.

    Keeps me present/grounded 😉 xx

I am curious to know why she calls meditation a “vice”?

    • It is possible to “hide out ” in anything , even if it is something that is beneficial to your life .. like exercise /meditation etc..

Really enjoyed this week’s interview. It’s refreshing to hear someone who I’d assume would have a certain sense of entitlement because of being 6ft of gorgeous talking about nerves & insecurity and fighting for what they want through hard work. Amber’s mum must have been seriously badass for her not to have had her head turned by the fashion industry. Real inner strength. Love it!

As a young women educating herself in the human rights field and global advocacy, I could relate a lot to what was discussed in this interview. Because I’ve always felt that I never fit in, or I could never be part of who my community wants me to be, I had to learn how to accept the fact that I am special, and that it is safe to be me. Volunteering at non-profit organizations and educating myself with leadership and global advocacy, I learned that all I have to do is simply be myself and give others what I have been given in the past, so that I learn the importance of being loved and being cared for, as much as they would learn the same thing. Thanks for this interview, this was a very relatable and inspiring.
