Thank you Amanda for the Conversation! I helps me heal! It helps me to start as of being 35 years old to be proud of being a women, not better than any man but not any less. I had a regrettable work experience a few years ago. I was trying to work my way up in the film-industry and met a very influent person that at the time I felt very creatively connected to. He was a lot older and a lot less naive than me. That evening went a lot further than I would have wanted and sadly enough I didn’t have the courage at that time to just leave and say, ‘You weird idiot!’ Sometimes everything isn’t black and white, alcohol can help blind you as can admiration for someone. I’ve felt so ashamed for over 8 years now. Only now I’m starting to forgive myself, him, I sort of didn’t even let myself feel angry against. He stole a little bit of my innocence. Now, it didn’t get very far, I ran away, literally, before anything serious happened which also made me feel such a despair of ‘Why did I let this happen, how did I end up running away from this, why wasn’t I stronger? Would someone else just have played along and accepted the ‘golden’ gifts that came with the sacrifice. As nothing really happened, there was nothing to say about it really but it’s kept me out of sleep for so many nights.
