I’ve recently discovered the conversation and it has totally transformed my mind. Never have i ever watched or rather listened to real life situations from public figures and those who represent women that is authentic and genuine.
I’ve never been exposed to such open discussions about actual life styles, choices, problems that women face and go through in their lives, solutions to problems that people are faced with and overall, the types of things women actually experience – as crazy as it may sound, i always felt like i was the only one going through a particular phase in my life and i never knew how to deal with it at the time. It was a whole bunch of trial and error and embarrassment, etc. Watching your show has given me great insight into what a young girl goes though and the transition we experience from that into a young lady and so forth. It’s really helped me gain perspective on my life and has allowed me the ability to spend time with myself and question things i do and say and form an opinion about lots of different things. It is wonderful to take people that are singers or other public figures and place them in a position where you look at the them as real people with real life situations and know that they deal with their lives in similar ways i would deal with it or just another ordinary person up my street would – To basically say it in simple words. Tabloids and television give you a perspective or a view of people that’s so incorrect and feed awful stories about successful and famous people and especially women who are constantly in the media. The conversation strips away all the gossip and nonsense that others speak about and it gives us truth and realistic situations and scenarios that we can relate to and gain good advise from, because not all of us can necessarily talk to our families about. A lot of it depends on the cultures we come from and the level of conservation among each other.
I would really like to extend my gratitude to you, Amanda, for creating a platform such as itself for us young ladies all over the world. A platform that is honest, non judgemental, open and authentic. You and what you do is a huge inspiration to me and has and is still helping me through a lot.

    Thank you,
    Nadia Francis

I absolutely love this series. I rewatch it all the time. I go on the website to check if there are new videos. The UK special really brought on some conversation topics that the other videos had yet to touch on. Rita’s story is definitely inspiring and I found a lot that I can relate to in her. The show has definitely exemplified feminism, but had yet to really delve into the subject with some authority so I’m glad Caitlin Moran spoke. Rosie was the icing on the cake. All well spoken individuals
