Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book

Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book

BY Amanda de Cadenet

There are many ways to attempt sobriety and it is down to the individual. However, in my personal experience 12 Step programs have been the most successful for many, many people. The 12 steps provide a structure for living, the missing “guidebook” to life if you ask me. The rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous provide a community of understanding, unpaid support and extraordinary compassion. I highly suggest to anyone who thinks they may have an unhealthy relationship with drugs or alcohol that you check out the AA website and go to a few meetings. http://www.aa.org
