An Interview With Spiritual Counselor Michael Hayes

BY Jaime King

I am really excited to share this interview that I did with Michael Hayes. Michael Hayes is a Spiritual Counselor and seminar leader who works with groups and individuals to transform their lives and awaken them to their spiritual nature. Michael lives in Los Angeles and works throughout the world. I have been working with Michael for many years now and found his work to be powerfully deep and healing. He is the go to guy for all walks of life. From parents to Arianna Huffington, creator of Huffington Post and a guest on The Conversation, as well as David Allen, productivity guru and author of “Getting Things Done,” a book which Time Magazine labeled as “the defining self-help business book of it’s time.”

I sat with Michael to discuss practical tips that women could use to connect themselves spiritually in a practical and easy way. I LOVED his ideas and you will know this because I say the word awesome about nine times in a row, but hey, you can’t edit out that kind of enthusiasm! Enjoy, and if you would like to learn more about Michael’s work check out his website, Awake to Love.

    Dearest Jaime,

I am very new to this website (only discovered it yesterday) and I can honestly say that I already feel so enlightened. Thank you for your introduction to Michael’s work. I will definitely be using these 3 tools. Its crazy how sometimes doing / receiving a good deed from someone else can bring us momentary happiness but due to our busy lives we just let it slip by and forget about it. I’ll be nice to sit down at the end of the day and bring back these feelings and indulge in them.

I look forward to reading more from you 🙂

Hi Jaime, thank you for this. At the moment I’m not in the best place in my life (one of those times where everything seems to be falling apart), and I think this will help me regain a more positive view on life and to put things in perspective, definitely going to try those lists at the end of the day.
Really looking forward to reading/seeing more from you!

I’ve had 4 or 5 counseling sessions with Michael, all life changing and lasting, for the better in my life. I’ve also observed countless group situations with Michael working one-on-one with people who ask for that. Sometimes I pray, “thank you, God, for sending us Michael.” One thing i especially appreciate about Michael’s approach is the loving. Michael demonstrates loving in his eyes, in his friendly and happy face, in his tone of voice, in his choice of words that he says, and the palpable presence of loving around him. I always come away having learned much more deeply how to love myself and others. Michael also sometimes comes out with some pretty interesting information. The thing I appreciate about that is, the counseling never ends up being about Michael and worshipping his information. The counseling always stays with me and what I can actually utilize for my learning, clearing, upliftment, and growth.

I agree with Michael~ simple tips of living everyday with the notion that ” Life is good” and you appreciate those in your life~~:) sounds easy, but sometimes it’s challenging~ I think personally being more spiritually aware is being more in tune with that inner voice that talks to you everyday and it’s important to listen as much as you can~ great advice 🙂 nice interview
